    We offer intermediate obedience training with a focus on AKC’s Canine Good Citizen Program. This class will expand and refine your basic training techniques and you can test for the CGC at the end of the six week session.
    Your training will focus on the 10 test sections of the CGC:
    • Accepting a friendly stranger
    • Sitting politely for petting
    • Appearance and grooming
    • Out for a walk (walking on loose leash)
    • Walking through a crowd
    • Sit and down on command / staying in place
    • Coming when called
    • Reaction to another dog
    • Reaction to distractions
    • Supervised separation (from owner)

    We offer basic obedience training for dogs & owners of all ages. We will teach you the techniques you need to help your dog learn the basics!
    • Owner’s Orientation (no dogs) on the first night – everyone comes 7 – 8pm
    • Remaining six training sessions with your dog, you will come at the allotted 6 – 7pm or 7 – 8pm time slot
    Techniques you will learn:
    • Sits & sit-stays
    • Down & down-stays
    • Heeling with turns
    • Recalls (including on a 6? and 30? line)
    • And many other fun training games & techniques for you and your dog
    Space is limited to 15 people in each class, so sign up early!
